Position Requirements:
- Understanding of legal terminology and local court/jurisdiction rules.
- Understanding of legal research and writing.
- Must be flexible with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and identify urgency as well as manage time and multitask effectively.
- Must be capable of performing a variety of clerkship duties for the Dept.
Position Duties:
- Conduct legal research and writing on legal issues in litigation.
- Draft litigation documents for review by attorneys.
- Attend for observation of hearings, depositions, and mediations of cases in litigation.
- Timely complete required litigation tasks.
- Perform tasks electronically in a paperless environment.
Experience and Skills:
- Completion of 1L or 2L years of an accredited law schools.
- Highly proficient in MS Office software and Professional Adobe or Nuance.
