Position Description: 

Title: Programs Research Intern

Summary: As the Programs Research Intern, you will gain hands on experience in the Aviation and Supply Chain Industries. This position will be an 8 week paid internship under the Programs team at Jet Midwest Inc located in Kansas City, MO. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities included, but not limited to:

  • Research aircraft parts, manufacturers, and approved suppliers
  • Gather and organize information on pricing, availability, and certifications
  • Help maintain spreadsheets and internal databases with accurate data
  • Assist with basic market and competitor research
  • Prepare simple summaries and reports for team members
  • Support ongoing research tasks as assigned


Education & Experience: 

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (aviation, engineering, business, supply chain, or related field)
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, Google, online research)
  • Ability to follow processes and verify information
  • Interest in aviation or aerospace
  • Preferred introductory coursework or exposure to aviation concepts
  • Preferred familiarity with basic aviation terminology
