About The Company
InSpacePropulsion Technologies (ISPTech) is a Spin-Off of the Institute of Space Propulsion at the German Aerospace Center (DLR). Current space propulsion systems offer either low cost or a high reliability. With our solutions – based on thousands of hot firing tests at DLR’s facilities – we can serve both worlds: offering low costs with high performance and high reliability. Our two technologies are suitable for all spacecraft sizes and classes – ranging from cubesats to large satellites, capsules or landers. About the Role

Your Main Responsibilities

  • General operational support across a wide range of projects, including building internal processes, structuring core operational workflows, and executing ambitious ideas end‑to‑end
  • HR and People operations support, including hiring channels, active recruiting, onboarding of new hires and students, and contribution to an open, high‑performance company culture
  • Development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the internal knowledge base, ensuring processes and documentation remain structured, current, and scalable
  • IT and operations support, including optimisation of the IT tools, inventory management (hardware and office assets), and support of compliant operational structures
  • Strategic project support directly with the founders/CEO, including analysis, prioritisation, and independent execution of initiatives from concept through implementation


Your Qualification

Must‑have

  • Enrolled student (Bachelor or Master), preferably in business, operations, engineering management, or a related field
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Structured, reliable, and proactive working style
  • Comfortable working with digital tools (Microsoft 365, documentation tools, basic spreadsheets)
  • Very good English (spoken and written); German is a plus
  •

  • Proof of proactive mindset, demonstrated extracurricular activities or initiative
  • First experience in operations, HR, startups, or student initiatives
  • Interest in space, aerospace, or deep tech startups
  • Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information responsibly
