LaFrance Corp is currently seeking a Finance Intern.
This is a hybrid role.
About the Role:
The Financial Operations Intern supports day-to-day financial processes, reporting, and analysis to ensure accurate and efficient business operations. This role provides hands-on experience in financial data management, transaction processing, and cross-functional coordination, helping drive informed decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with financial data entry, validation, and reconciliation tasks.
- Support preparation of financial reports and key performance metrics.
- Analyze transactions and identify discrepancies or inconsistencies.
- Help track expenses, budgets, and operational financial data.
- Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to support business operations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Support special projects related to financial analysis, reporting, or process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (in progress) in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. 0–1 years of relevant experience (internships or coursework preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively across departments and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior internship or coursework in finance or accounting.
- Familiarity with financial systems or ERP platforms.
- Basic understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation.
- Experience with data visualization or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
