LaFrance Corp is currently seeking a Finance Intern.

This is a hybrid role.

About the Role:

The Financial Operations Intern supports day-to-day financial processes, reporting, and analysis to ensure accurate and efficient business operations. This role provides hands-on experience in financial data management, transaction processing, and cross-functional coordination, helping drive informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with financial data entry, validation, and reconciliation tasks.
  • Support preparation of financial reports and key performance metrics.
  • Analyze transactions and identify discrepancies or inconsistencies.
  • Help track expenses, budgets, and operational financial data.
  • Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to support business operations.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Support special projects related to financial analysis, reporting, or process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (in progress) in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. 0–1 years of relevant experience (internships or coursework preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across departments and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior internship or coursework in finance or accounting.
  • Familiarity with financial systems or ERP platforms.
  • Basic understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation.
  • Experience with data visualization or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
