We are seeking a motivated and driven Summer Intern to join our Finance and Accounting team. The ideal candidate will gain exposure to both finance and accounting, assisting in day-to-day activities while learning about the financial processes and systems that support the business. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to interact with and understand other key areas of the company, including operations, marketing, and strategy, providing a well-rounded business perspective. 

 WHAT YOU DO: 

This role will be dynamic, depending on the needs of the group at the time. The below are an idea of what you may be involved in:  

• Support month-end processes across both the finance and accounting function 
• Conduct financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance tracking 
• Drive automation opportunities within the team using Power Automate, Parabolo and Cauzzy AI tools 
• Build reporting dashboards in PowerBi 
• Process data and ensure accuracy in accounting software/spreadsheets 
• Create templates or workflows to streamline month-end or quarterly close activities 
• Provide support with account analysis and reconciliation 
• Ad Hoc Reporting: Provide timely insights for leadership through custom reports on sales trends, margin performance, or product profitability 
• Collaborate with team members to drive process improvement and enhancements 
• Participate in meetings to gain a deeper understanding of finance and accounting within an organization 
• Perform internal controls as required by our parent company

 QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field 
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail 
• Excellent communication and organizational skills 
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team 
• Must be able to work from the Corporate Office in West Hollywood or Carson at least 40% of the time. 

The expected base salary range for this position is $20 to $22 per hour. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.
