About the Role

Position Summary

The Finance Intern is responsible for various accounting and internal control tasks, including assisting accounts payable and cost accountant on some projects regarding internal control and process optimization. 

Key Responsibilities (projects)

  • Assist with the cost and expense reduction project 
  • Assist head of finance in process optimization project
  • Assist to optimize the monthly closing check list and job responsibilities
  • Assist with semi-annual fixed assets physical count
  • Perform any range of special accounting projects as assigned by head of finance

 

Required Skills & Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Bilingual Chinese/English language skills are preferred not required
  • Working knowledge of accounting systems such as especially General Ledger
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment
