About the Role

Position Summary

The Annie E. Casey Foundation’s paid, twelve-week summer program is designed to provide interns with engaging, challenging project-based assignments, cross-team exposure and learning opportunities in a mission-driven environment, working to support their assigned team as well as on a group project with each other. The program will run from June 1–Aug. 21, 2026.

The Foundation is offering an internship to work with its Business Technology team, reporting to the manager of Systems and Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with answering, evaluating and prioritizing Helpdesk ticket requests from staff experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking and other technologies.
  • Maintain a schedule of equipment (audio, visual and computer) set-ups, prioritize staff needs and resolve any computer trouble shooting concerns.
  • Learning to image/format laptops for new users.
  • Document standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate with the Meetings and Events team to assess and arrange equipment rentals.

           o Position, install and connect equipment, such as microphones, amplifiers and lights, for internal and external meetings.

  • Work with the team on various technology projects and opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Qualified candidates should be enrolled in a post-secondary associate or bachelor’s program, preferably junior or senior standing.

Physical Demand/Workplace Environment

The work will be performed in a hybrid setting based in Baltimore, MD. 

Compensation

This is a temporary position compensated at a rate of $19 to $25 hourly, up to 40 hours per week.
