Help bridge the gap between engineering and AI innovation in Project NOVA. As an AI & ML Industrial/Process Intern, you’ll apply your technical expertise to guide model selection and ensure AI solutions meet real-world needs

Your Tasks:

Analyze production and operational processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks
Collect, clean, and structure real-world data
Assist in the design and development of AI/ML algorithms to optimize industrial processes and improve operational efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and understand process challenges that can be addressed through AI/ML solutions.
Conduct data analysis and visualization to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvements.
Support the implementation of machine learning models, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
Participate in the testing and validation of AI/ML applications to ensure they meet performance and reliability standards.
Document findings, methodologies, and results to contribute to project reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Requirements:

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Industrial/Process Engineering, or related field.
Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms.
Proficiency in Python, R, or Java.
Experience with AI/ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication and presentation skills.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone)
Knowledge of Azure cloud platforms.
Coding experience (Python or similar).
Ability to translate customer needs into technical specs
