Help bridge the gap between engineering and AI innovation in Project NOVA. As an AI & ML Mechanical Engineer Intern, you’ll apply your technical expertise to guide model selection and ensure AI solutions meet real-world needs.

Your Tasks:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify AI/ML opportunities.
  • Design, build, and deploy AI/ML models.
  • Analyze large datasets to extract insights.
  • Document development processes and model results.
  • Present findings to stakeholders using visualizations and reports.
  • Stay updated with AI/ML advancements.
  • Bridge engineering and AI requirements.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Foundational understanding of finite element analysis — structural dynamics, modal analysis, eigenvalue problems, and mode shapes
  • Proficient in Python with hands-on experience using NumPy and SciPy for numerical data processing
  • Experience with 3D visualization libraries — PyVista, Matplotlib, or Plotly
  • OpenFOAM or fluid-structure interaction experience is a bonus but not required
  • Coding experience (Python or similar).

The expected compensation range for this position is $24.00 to $30.00/hr. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on several job-related factors, including relevant education, depth and breadth of experience, professional certifications or license, specialized skills aligned with the role, and internal equity considerations. This role offers, 

  • tical experience in the field of optical current measurement technology and sustainable energy transmission in an innovative company.
  • You will work in a motivated team on forward-looking projects and gain insights into the latest technologies.
