About the Role? 

Landus is a farmer-owned cooperative dedicated to connecting farmers with markets, opportunities, and innovative solutions. Our soy crush plant in Ralston is a key part of our operations, driving efficiency, sustainability, and value for our farmer-owners. 

Landus is seeking a motivated Agricultural Systems & Technology Engineer Intern to join our team at the Ralston Soy Crush Plant. In this role, you will apply engineering principles, technology solutions, and process improvements to optimize plant performance, reliability, and safety. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with operations, maintenance, and safety teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement. 

What will you do?? 

· Support daily operations of the soy crush plant through technology and engineering solutions. 

· Design, implement, and maintain agricultural and industrial systems to improve efficiency, throughput, and safety. 

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, analyze data, and develop solutions. 

· Assist in evaluating, selecting, and integrating new technology and automation systems. 

· Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. 

· Lead or support capital projects, including planning, installation, and commissioning of new equipment. 

· Provide training and technical support to team members on systems and technology. 

Qualifications:  

· Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Agricultural Systems Technology, Agricultural Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). 

· Strong understanding of agricultural processing systems, automation, and industrial technology. 

· Experience with process controls, data analysis, and project management preferred. 

· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. 

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on plant environment. 

Program Details: 

· Internship Dates: May 26 – August 10, 2026
