About the Role

Mission

As a Recruitment Intern within ING Bank, you will have the opportunity to learn and understand the full recruitment process end‑to‑end, while supporting the Sales Network Recruitment team in day‑to‑day operational and administrative activities. Through hands‑on involvement, you will gain practical exposure to each stage of the hiring cycle, contribute to creating a positive candidate experience, and develop strong organizational, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

About the team

You’ll join a collaborative and supportive recruitment team that works closely with the Sales Network and many other business areas across ING. Here, you’ll find a culture built on transparency, teamwork and continuous learning.

Our Recruitment Team is deeply connected to all HR departments and works alongside multiple business lines across the bank. We learn from one another, share best practices and collaborate often — giving you the opportunity to engage with teams such as Payroll, HR Admin, Performance & Rewards and Talent & Learning, and gain exposure to a wide range of expertise and initiatives.

We also work together on cross‑functional projects and HR events, strengthening our culture and creating space for creativity, curiosity and shared ownership.

Your day‑to‑day

In this internship, you will:

  • Maintain and update recruitment‑related data in internal systems

  • Support the end‑to‑end recruitment and selection process, including:

    • Posting job ads on ING’s recruitment channels

    • Screening candidate profiles

    • Scheduling interviews and coordinating availability

    • Communicating with candidates throughout the process

    • Preparing interview materials and documentation

  • Assist in conducting interviews and participate in interview sessions

  • Manage and conduct exit interviews to gather structured feedback from employees

  • Handle candidate and employee correspondence

What you bring to the team

  • Motivation to grow in HR and Recruitment, with a curious and open mindset

  • Strong communication, prioritization and organizational abilities

  • Final‑year Bachelor or Master’s student

  • Previous internship or volunteer experience is an advantage

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Medium level English

  • MS Office proficiency
