About The Company
Nox Metals is an AI-powered metals supplier empowering modern American manufacturing at scale. We combine data with software and automation to deliver metals at warp speed.
About the Role

Social Media & Marketing Intern

Part Time | Detroit, MI

We use software and automation to supply metal to American factories faster than the industry thought possible.

Nox Metals is building the future of American metal supply from Detroit. We need a Social Media & Marketing Intern who can grow our audience, drive real conversions, and help us own the conversation around reindustrialization. This is not a "post and pray" role. You'll be in the building, making content that moves numbers and turns heads.

What you'll do

  • Own and grow our presence across Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Build followers, drive engagement, and track what converts.

  • Shoot and edit short-form video on the factory floor. Reels, Shorts, TikTok. Capture the real thing, make it look great.

  • Dream up and execute wild, attention-grabbing content. Stunts, challenges, behind-the-scenes chaos. We're cutting metal in Detroit, not selling SaaS. Act like it.

  • Write, build, and send newsletters that customers and prospects actually open. Test subject lines, segment lists, iterate.

  • Coordinate customer collaboration content. Case studies, testimonials, co-branded posts, and spotlight pieces with the companies we serve.

  • Support SEO and GEO efforts across noxmetals.co and 606170757050.com. Research keywords, write optimized copy, track rankings.

  • Assist with product marketing for Nox services and capabilities. Help translate what we do on the floor into messaging that lands with buyers.

  • Build and execute a content calendar tied to growth goals, not vanity metrics.

  • Track analytics across every channel. Know what's working, kill what isn't, bring new ideas every week.

What we're looking for

  • Addicted to using AI to solve problems/pull levers

  • Understands social growth levers, not just posting. Algorithms, hooks, CTAs, conversion funnels.

  • Strong short-form video and copywriting skills.

  • Creative and a little unhinged. You should be the person who pitches the idea everyone else thinks is too crazy, then makes it work.

  • Experience with email/newsletter platforms (Mailchimp, Beehiiv, or similar).

  • Familiarity with SEO fundamentals. Keyword research, on-page optimization, content strategy.

  • Comfortable on a factory floor with a camera. Loud, industrial, real.

  • Comfortable in front of camera and being face of the company

  • Bonus: Figma, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite experience.

  • Bonus: Interest in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or the American industrial economy.

This role is for you if

  • You're having the time of your life making content. If this feels like a chore, it's not the role.

  • You move fast and don't wait to be told what to do.

  • You care about numbers going up and you know how to make that happen.

  • You want to build a brand from the ground up, not maintain one.

  • You take things off people's plates before anyone asks.

  • You want to be part of something real being built in Detroit.
