Job Description

Job Summary

As an AI Infrastructure Intern at GE Healthcare Austria, you will support the development and maintenance of scalable and robust AI platforms, contributing to cutting-edge medical imaging and diagnostic solutions.

Responsibilities

  • *Assist in the design, implementation, and optimization of AI infrastructure components, including data pipelines, model deployment, and monitoring systems.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to understand their infrastructure needs and provide technical support.
  • Participate in the evaluation and integration of new technologies and tools to enhance AI development workflows.
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AI infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Document technical specifications, configurations, and procedures for AI infrastructure.
  • Contribute to the automation of infrastructure tasks and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Support the maintenance of cloud-based AI environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).


Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of AI/Machine Learning concepts and workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of Python, familiarity with SQL.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in learning new technologies.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle tasks with competing priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
