Ernst & Young's Tax practice is one of the largest, most highly esteemed and most technically advanced tax practices in the world. Through a combined international, regional, and local tax approach, EY tax professionals help companies understand the important linkage between tax planning and their business imperatives. We then provide a wide array of tax services to help these companies identify and implement winning tax strategies that align with the client's business objectives.

As a member of EY's core Tax practice, you will have the combination of deep tax knowledge and a sophisticated understanding of business drivers to serve your clients to the best of your ability.

We are currently seeking a driven candidate to be a Tax Intern or Student Worker for our location Curacao. 

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to client satisfaction by providing timely and effective responses to client needs and concerns.
• Develop and deliver timely and high-quality services and work products.
• Learn about and research complex tax issues and help develop practical tax approaches.
• Participate in client meetings and work within a team environment to deliver integrated advisory services to clients.
• Demonstrate an understanding of basic tax concepts and actively pursue increased tax knowledge through client assignments and current tax developments.

To qualify, candidates must be:

• In the process of obtaining a bachelor's or Master degree with a concentration in Tax Law, Tax Accounting or a related field.

Skills and Attributes

• Strong analytical skills as well as excellent written/verbal communication skills in Dutch & English (a must).
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills and excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Integrity, maturity, dependability, and a positive professional attitude.
