Your Impact 

As a Co-op Staff Accountant, you will: 

 

  • Prepare bank reconciliations; 
  • Prepare HST reasonableness analysis; 
  • Prepare reconciliation of corporate income taxes accounting balances to corporate tax filings; 
  • Analysis of general ledger information; 
  • Analysis of financial statement results; 
  • Preparation of accounting and bookkeeping entries; 
  • Prepare corporate income tax returns and supporting documentation; 
  • Prepare personal income tax returns and supporting documentation; 
  • Preparation of Notice to Reader financial statements and disclosures; and 
  • Preparation of working paper files to support client filings and deliverables. 


Keys to Success: 

  • Be driven to continuously learn from experiences and seek out feedback and development opportunities; 
  • Regularly communicate with senior Staff Accountants and the management team, including Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners; 
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects; and 
  • Work hard and smart, especially during busy season, to meet client demands.
