JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Co-op/Intern within TD Auto Finance (TDAF) Commercial Credit & Operations, you will gain hands-on exposure to the end-to-end credit lifecycle supporting automotive dealers across Canada. Working alongside experienced credit and operations professionals, you will rotate through key functional areas including Commercial Operations, Credit Monitoring, and Commercial Credit, contributing to day-to-day analysis, reporting, and risk management activities.
We are looking for a candidate who is analytical and detail-oriented, with a strong interest in commercial banking and credit risk, as well as someone who is curious, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. Your work will directly support informed credit decisions, operational efficiency, and TD’s commitment to prudent risk management while delivering exceptional service to our dealer partners.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term (requirement of all co-op/intern positions)
- Strong interest in commercial credit, risk management, automotive industry, and financial services
- Basic understanding of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and flag exceptions or risks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, sorting, basic data analysis); familiarity with PowerPoint is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and work independently
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well across different teams

- This position is a 4-month work term and will commence September 8th - December 18th 2026.
