Role Summary/Purpose:

The Early Career Program is 24 month program that offers an incredible opportunity to challenge yourself and gain valuable work experience.  A Long-Term Internship at GE Aerospace is demanding but equally rewarding and will give you the tools you need to accelerate your career.  As an Early Career Trainee (ECT) at GE Aerospace you will gain hands on experience across the most important elements of Aviation Operations including Sales and Marketing, Customer Support, Engineering and Maintenance and Repair Operations

Essential Responsibilities:

As an ECT Trainee at GE Aerospace, you will be assigned to support projects across the different functions on a rotational basis. As the traineeship progresses, you will be expected to accept greater responsibilities until you are able to assume a lead role in a specific customer engagement later in the program, to be chosen based on business priorities at the time.  

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Engineering sciences or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Experience: Fresh graduate or candidate with less than 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis) and PowerPoint (technical reporting). Power BI / SharePoint: Assist in developing automated dashboards to visualize regional shop performance and maintain a centralized document library for local compliance records.

 

Desired Characteristics:

  • Passion for learning; ability to self-teach and enquire
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Strong interpersonal skills - Ability to work across culture, diversity and manage conflict effectively
