Identity & AI Security Task Force Intern - Part time for a student

We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Identity & AI Security Task Force Intern to support two strategic initiatives: Identity and Access Management and AI Security. This role provides hands‑on exposure to identity security, emerging AI‑related risks, and cross‑functional collaboration in a global enterprise environment.

The intern will contribute across analysis, coordination, and selected execution activities. The scope is intentionally flexible and will be tailored to the individual’s strengths, with a strong emphasis on learning, ownership, and producing work that has real impact.

This position is ideal for a Master’s‑level student interested in security, identity, and technology risk who is curious, engaged, and eager to grow into a future security or IAM role.

Primary Responsibilities

Task Force Support

• Support Identity and AI Security task force activities in parallel, contributing to multiple workstreams at the same time.
• Help structure loosely defined problems into clear tasks, deliverables, and next steps.
• Track actions, dependencies, and progress across initiatives to keep work moving forward.

Analysis, Documentation & Follow‑Through

• Assist with analysis of IAM hygiene findings and AI security topics, including data review, validation, and summarization.
• Prepare clear documentation, summaries, and briefing materials to support decision‑making.
• Work with mixed and ad‑hoc data sources to support tracking, analysis, and occasional dashboards.
• Contribute to playbooks, guidance, and process documentation with strong attention to detail.

Communication & Collaboration

• Communicate clearly and effectively across technical and non‑technical audiences, cultures, and divisions.
• Create structured, easy‑to‑understand materials (presentations, trackers, summaries) to support stakeholder communication.
• Participate in cross‑functional meetings and facilitate lower‑stakes working sessions when appropriate.
• Occasionally present directly to stakeholders; more often support senior team members with prepared materials.

Technical Exposure

• Gain hands‑on exposure to IAM technologies such as Entra ID and related identity platforms.
• Support hygiene validation and remediation preparation using established procedures.

Ideal Skillset

• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex topics clearly.
• High attention to detail and care for accuracy, consistency, and follow‑through.
• Professional English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Analytical mindset and willingness to learn by doing.
• Comfortable working across different task types and levels of ambiguity.
• Genuine interest in identity, security, and emerging technology risks.

Preferred Skillset

• Prior exposure to IAM concepts or platforms (e.g. Entra ID, Active Directory, cloud IAM).
• Familiarity with IAM domains such as authentication, directory services, identity governance, or PAM.
• Experience with data analysis or visualization; Power BI familiarity is a plus.
• Hands‑on labs, coursework, or student work related to cloud, security, or identity.

Candidate Profile & Growth

• Currently enrolled student (Master’s level preferred; must be a student).
• Background in IT, cybersecurity, computer science, data, or related fields.
• Curious, proactive, and genuinely invested in learning and contributing.
