The Operational Risk Group at Point72 is responsible for identification, monitoring, and reporting of operational risk across the firm. We also manage business continuity, third-party risks, and commercial lines of insurance. 

About the Operational Risk, Business Continuity Planning & Insurance Internship 

If you are interested in pursuing a career in Enterprise Risk, the 10-week Operational Risk – Business Continuity Planning and Insurance internship at Point72 provides individuals an opportunity to gain exposure and knowledge as you: 

• Work closely with a small and collaborative team to gain a foundational understanding of Operational Risk within a global company 

• Record and document Operational Risk events using risk management software  

• Collaborate with colleagues to document ownership, controls, and Key Risk Indicators for critical risks 

• Assist with the vendor due diligence process by researching vendors history, organizational structure, and more 

• Engage with vendor relationship owners to gather required information and populate the vendor catalogue 

• Assist with development of training materials for vendor onboarding and event reporting

The annual base salary is $75,000 which will be prorated based on internship start and end date; this does not include overtime compensation. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
