Join AAA’s Roadways College Internship Program!

AAA has an exciting opportunity to join the Insurance Classic Team for a 10-week internship.  Interns should have a career aspiration and passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. Interns will actively participate in programs contributing to meaningful projects and work closely each week with the Insurance Classic Team.

About the Roadways College Internship Program:

Over the summer program, interns receive tools and resources for their growth and development that will help them prepare for the current and future workforce, including:

• Understanding how to align business strategy with key objectives and initiatives

• Using behavioral and communication tools to enhance their personal image

• Demonstrating flexibility, agility, and the ability to respond effectively to change

• Cultivating relationships to increase collaboration and build trust

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with Insurance Classic team members on various projects and tasks

• Attend weekly operational and strategic insight sessions with senior leaders

• Attend learning and development sessions to further enhance your leadership skills

• Design and deliver interactive, audience-ready presentations using Microsoft Office tools (including, but not limited to, PowerPoint)

• Network with executives and senior leaders across different business units

• Participate in team building and volunteer events

• Participate in job shadowing/hands-on activities

What You’ll Need:

• Must be a Senior enrolled in a college/university with emphasis in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.

• Hands‑on experience with programming languages such as Java, HTML, CSS, Microsoft SQL Server, and/or VB .NET.

• Basic familiarity with SOAP and REST APIs, designing Java web services, and linking them to SQL databases.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Git, GitHub, or Jenkins.

• Exposure to code development tools such as Eclipse or VS Code is a plus.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Python) is an added advantage.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Self‑motivated, eager to learn, willing to ask questions, and able to apply new knowledge quickly.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Internship Eligibility:

• Must commit to the entirety of the program, June 8th through August 14th

• Must commit to working full time, 40 hours per week

• Must be willing to commute to the office daily

• The pay for this position will be $27 per hour
