GENERAL SUMMARY
Performs Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) and engineering design tasks to support the nature-based solutions program, wastewater treatment system, floodplain mapping, and other River Authority functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings and plans using CADD software under the guidance of engineers and project managers.
- Support the team in preparing, organizing, and updating design files, layouts, and project specifications to meet quality standards.
- Assist with basic design calculations related to drainage, storm water, wastewater, and nature-based solutions to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Performs related work as required.

- This position does not directly supervise any employees
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education and Experience
High School diploma or G.E.D. and enrollment in college courses or training programs in Computer Aided Design and Drafting is required. Coursework in civil, environmental, or agricultural engineering is preferred.

Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with CADD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is required. Experience or course work in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and/or HEC-RAS is preferred.
