About the Role

Position Overview

We’re International. 


We build International trucks and engines and IC Bus® school and commercial buses, as well as develop Fleetrite aftermarket parts. In everything we do, our vision is to accelerate the impact of sustainable mobility to create the cleaner, safer world we all deserve. 


Join Us as a Sustainability Intern! 


The sustainability management team is responsible for the governance of the company’s activities around decarbonization, circularity and human rights.


Responsibilities

  • Create improved data visualization dashboards and reporting calendars to track site performance and key deadlines
  • Support employee engagement programs including development of resource library, event calendar, and campus garden activities
  • Assist in development of refreshed sustainability management website to help raise awareness of actions across the organization
  • Aid team in strengthening training programs around environmental management and sustainability
  • Support team in other activities including research, data analysis, benchmarking and project management

Minimum Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

OR

  • For Legal Jobs: Pursuing a Juris Doctor degree or Doctor of Law degree (J.D.)

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B or F-1 status)

Desired Skills

  • At least Sophomore standing for undergrad at the time of application
  • Able to work at least 12 weeks (starting the end of May or early June through August)
  • Previous applicable internships
  • Self-starter
  • High level of computer skills (Microsoft Applications and Internet)

Benefits and Compensation

This position offers competitive pay to support employees as they gain real‑world experience and grow professionally. The hourly pay range is $27–$32 per hour. In addition, interns and co‑ops are eligible for paid time off (PTO) and paid company holidays during their assignment.
