Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Project Manager Intern to support our project management team in planning, executing, and delivering technology projects. This internship offers hands-on experience in project coordination, stakeholder communication, and the use of project management tools within a dynamic IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking IT projects to ensure timely delivery

  • Support project managers in coordinating tasks, resources, and timelines

  • Participate in team meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items

  • Assist in maintaining project documentation, including project plans, timelines, and deliverables

  • Assist in managing testing, quality assurance, and implementation activities as needed

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall)

  • Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office, Jira, Planner, or similar

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship or academic project experience in IT or project management

  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Exposure to data analysis or reporting tools

  • Certification or coursework in project management (e.g., CAPM, Scrum fundamentals)
