About the Role

About the Role:

Grade Level (for internal use):

05

The Team (Production): Are you ready to jump into a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where great work gets delivered through teamwork and precision? We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented intern to join the Polk Automotive Solutions Production Team this summer! Our Production Team partners across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Operations to ensure client deliverables powered by Polk data are planned, executed, and delivered with quality and consistency.

Location: Southfield, MI (Please note: relocation assistance is not available)

The Impact: Production is where strategy meets execution. You’ll help remove barriers that slow down delivery, strengthen internal workflows, and ensure the right people have the right information at the right time. Your support will directly impact our ability to deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality outputs—enabling exceptional customer experiences and stronger business outcomes.

What’s in it for You:

  • Real Experience: Get hands-on exposure to how deliverables move from request to fulfillment, including intake, requirements, timelines, and final delivery—while collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and other Production partners.
  • Networking Opportunities: Build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and learn how high-performing teams communicate and execute.
  • Skill Development: Strengthen project coordination, documentation, and communication skills while learning to navigate tools like Salesforce and AI-enabled recap/summary tools (as used by the team), plus the reporting and collaboration tools that keep work moving.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Help manage and track production requests and deliverables, ensuring timelines, ownership, and next steps are clear.
  • Organize and maintain reports and documentation used in production check-ins and account/status meetings.
  • Support Salesforce cleanup and organization to improve visibility and streamline production-related workflows.
  • Attend internal meetings, compile clear meeting recaps, and track action items to increase team efficiency (including support using AI tools, where applicable).
  • Assist with intake and workflow setup—helping standardize how work is requested, prioritized, routed, and completed.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Sales, Customer Success, and Product to ensure requirements are captured and handoffs are smooth.
  • Identify opportunities to improve process consistency, reduce rework, and keep deliverables moving forward.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business or IT or another related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills—you can capture details clearly and communicate updates professionally.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working against deadlines.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; you ask good questions and help drive clarity.
  • Adaptable and eager to learn in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships in a collaborative, cross-functional setting.
  • Interest in operations, delivery, data analytics, process improvement, or product fulfillment.

Ready to help deliver work that makes a real impact? Apply now and let’s build something great together.
