Job Details

Procure, store and aid in the dispensing of medications and pharmaceutical supplies related to both patient and departmental needs. To prepare for a future role as a pharmacist by combining knowledge of pharmaceuticals with technical and clinical experiences learned during the internship program.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Participates in the medication distribution system within TJUH.

  • Prepares parenteral products using aseptic technique.

  • Assures the provision of quality pharmacy services.

  • Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.

EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matriculating in an accredited college of pharmacy

  • Experience is preferred but not required.
