Summary:

Prepares and assists in dispensing and distributing medications, including oral preparations, intravenous (I.V.) medications, IV chemotherapy preparations and total parenteral nutrition preparations under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist; maintains pharmaceutical supplies in accordance with Safe Handling Practices; fills automated dispensing machines (Talyst, Talyst pre-packaging machine, Pysix); assists with receiving pharmaceutical supplies and in the preparation of pharmaceutical orders; assists in repackaging of unit dose solid and liquid medications; maintains and files appropriate records according to Roswell Park policies and procedures. The starting rate of pay for this position is $24.18/hour.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience

License Requirement
Current New York State Pharmacy Intern Permit.

The preferred candidate will have their High School Diploma/GED, they will currently be enrolled in Pharmacy Doctoral program, and will have their Pharmacy Intern Permit.
