More about the role

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Technical Design in Madrid with Signify.

You will support the Technical Design team in their daily activities, contributing directly to ongoing projects and helping to improve efficiency and delivery quality.

This is a hands-on, office-based engineering role, where you will work on system designs, technical documentation, and project preparation.

This role focuses on engineering design for real installations, not on product development or R&D.

  • Engineering student (Electrical, Industrial, or similar)

  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems or control systems

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools

  • Structured and detail-oriented mindset

  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Comfortable working in an international environment

Key responsibilities

  • Support Technical Designers in the development of system designs for lighting control solutions

  • Assist in the creation and update of technical documentation (drawings, schematics, system layouts)

  • Work with tools such as AutoCAD and internal configuration software

  • Help structure and organize project files and technical information

  • Contribute to improving templates, standards, and documentation quality

  • Support the preparation of project handovers to execution teams
