Global Finance

The Global Finance Department — which includes also Global Procurement and ICT — is committed to continuously improving the Chiesi Group’s performance and governance. It plays a key role in strategic corporate operations thanks to its contribution across all areas of the Group, from geographical to global, and from business to departmental. To guide the Chiesi Group in its short-, medium- and long-term decisions, the Team defines clear targets and develops action plans to achieve them effectively

 

Who we are looking for

This is what you will do

FP&A Team is part of the Global Finance Department and provides high-level guidance as well as operational support to Affiliate Finance teams concerning the main financial processes, such as Planning, Monthly Reporting and Year-End Closing. Liaise mainly with the Region and Country staff, Franchises and GBU and all other Global Finance functions (CFO and first reporting line, Global Accounting and GCN, Tax & Treasury, GICT) and Chiesi Group Top Management.

 

We are seeking a curious, proactive and motivated Intern eager to develop strong analytical and financial skills within a dynamic Global Finance FP&A team. You'll work closely with the FP&A Lead for the TOP5 EU markets and the US, gaining first‑hand exposure to corporate finance processes across Chiesi’s largest affiliates.

You’ll be involved in:

Support to Monthly Closing & Reporting

  • Assist in preparing regional monthly reports and performance dashboards.
  • Ensure timely collection and consolidation of data from TOP5 & US affiliates.
  • Perform first level variance analyses (Actual vs Plan vs Forecast).

Planning & Forecasting Activities

  • Contribute to Budget, Forecast and Long‑Range Plan cycles.
  • Support affiliates by collecting inputs, validating data, and helping ensure alignment with FP&A guidelines.

Business Performance Analysis

  • Assist in building ad‑hoc analyses and KPIs to track the performance of regions, markets, products or cost centers.
  • Support the preparation of presentations for Finance leadership.

Process & Tools Support

  • Collaborate on continuous improvement of FP&A processes and tools (PCR/BOARD, BI platforms).
  • Help standardize reporting models and documentation.

Crossf-unctional Collaboration

  • Interact with Country Finance teams, Regional Heads of Finance, Global Accounting, Tax & Treasury and other Global Finance units.
  • Support finance‑related projects at Group, Regional or Country level.

You will need to have

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or Management Engineering.
  • Basic understanding of accounting and financial statements
  • Good command of Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with planning and reporting tools (a plus)
  • Fluent English (spoken and written). An study experience aborad will be consider a plus

Parma, HQ Chiesi. Flexible combination of on-site presence and remote training possible
