Chiesi Research & Development

Our R&D team represents a fundamental asset for the business. It is divided into integrated functional areas focusing on pipeline projects including discovery and preclinical research, global technical development, drug delivery technology, clinical development, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, intellectual property, quality assurance, R&D project and portfolio management.  Headquartered in the new purpose-built and fully integrated Research and Development Centre in Parma (Italy), the team also has important operations in Paris (France), Chippenham (UK), Cary (US), Stockholm (Sweden), Toronto (Canada) and Shanghai (China).

 

Who we are looking for

This is what you will do

As an intern, you will support the team in ensuring the planning, preparation, and distribution of materials for clinical studies (clinical trial supplies), in line with project timelines and GMP standards. You will also assist the Clinical Supply Manager in a complex and international environment.

You’ll be involved in:

  • Support to develop packaging design solutions for clinical trial materials tailored for patient compliance and site staff needs
  • Support to develop the clinical trial supplies distribution plan according to sites’ recruitment rate and enrolment plan
  • Assist in the preparation of clinical trial supplies according to the clinical protocol and to the clinical trial supply plan, budget and timelines
  • Contribute to the definition of outsourcing/insourcing strategy for the assigned clinical trial supplies blinding, packaging & labelling and distribution activities and define the related budget
  • Contribute to the technical evaluation of the CTS Department providers
  • Prepare batch record documentation or review the providers’ batches record documentation (in case of outsourced activities) for the blinding and packaging and labelling of clinical trial supplies
  • Contribute to the selection of the providers, the requirements set-up and validation of IRT
  • Assist in the presentation of study drugs at the Investigator Meetings and CRA meetings or Site Initiation Visit

You will need to have

  • Master’s degree in CTF, Pharmacy, Biotechnology or Biology
  • Basic knowledge of drug development and clinical research
  • Basic Knowledge of GMP and GCP
  • Fluent English (spoken and written). An study experience aborad will be consider a plus

 

  • Analysing, resuming and interpreting information skill's
  • Ability to manage stress
  • Capable of planning and anticipating actions according to priorities and deadlines
