Role Overview

The Intern, Succession & Teaming Programs will support the team responsible for enabling smooth advisor transitions that protect client relationships, strengthen advisor teams, and support long-term business continuity across the Advisory and WISI businesses.
This role offers hands-on exposure to wealth management strategy, program execution, and data-driven insights, while contributing to initiatives that help advisors transition their practices with confidence and continuity for clients.
Key Accountabilities
Program & Initiative Support
• Provide day-to-day support to the Manager in delivering Succession and Teaming programs that enable sustainable advisor practices and positive client outcomes
• Assist with coordinating program activities, tracking deliverables, and supporting execution against key priorities
• Prepare meeting materials, summaries, and action items that support effective collaboration across internal partners
• Support the planning and delivery of education and training sessions for Branch Managers and Advisors, helping colleagues confidently navigate succession planning conversations
Data, Insights & Reporting
• Support the collection and organization of data related to advisor transitions, valuations, and client transition trends
• Assist in developing clear, concise summaries and basic analysis to inform:
oProgram performance reviews
oPost-implementation assessments
oManagement reporting and presentations
•Help maintain trackers and working files that support informed decision-making and continuous program improvement
Advisor Resources & Documentation
•Support the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of the Legacy & RTP resource centre, ensuring content is current, clear, and easy for advisors and leaders to navigate
•Assist with drafting, formatting, and organizing advisor-facing and internal program materials, policies, and process documentation
•Apply a continuous improvement mindset to help make resources simpler, clearer, and more consistent for end users
Process Improvement & Enablement
•Support efforts to identify opportunities to streamline end-to-end succession and teaming processes, reducing complexity while maintaining strong risk and regulatory alignment
• Assist with documenting current-state processes and supporting the development of simplified process maps or summaries
• Contribute to testing or validating updated tools, templates, or processes before broader rollout
Collaboration & Communication
• Support the preparation of internal communications that help leaders and advisors understand program updates, expectations, and available supports
• Collaborate with partners across TD Wealth to gather inputs and ensure materials are accurate, aligned, and well-coordinated
• Demonstrate TD’s commitment to colleague experience, professionalism, and partnership

Who You Are
Education
• Currently enrolled in, or recently completed, an undergraduate program in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline
Skills & Attributes
•Strong analytical skills with comfort working in Excel and PowerPoint
•Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
•High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
•Curiosity about wealth management, financial services, and business strategy
•Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
•A positive, proactive mindset aligned with TD’s values and culture
Nice to Have
•Previous internship, co-op, or academic project experience in finance, consulting, or operations
•Interest in building a longer-term career within TD Wealth or financial services
