We are currently seeking a Temporary Bank Teller / Summer Intern to join us at our suburban locations in Glenview and Wheeling. This position is available for an immediate start and will continue through August or September.


As a Teller, you will serve as the “front line” representative of the bank, helping to create a welcoming and trustworthy experience for our customers. In this role, you will handle a variety of financial transactions, including receiving and disbursing funds, while maintaining accurate records of cash and payments. 


Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  • Receives checks and cash for deposit, verifies amount, and carefully examines check for proper endorsement.
  • Cashes checks and pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
  • Enters customer transactions into the computer to record transactions and issues receipts.
  • Explains, promotes, or refers products or services such as traveler’s checks, savings bonds, money orders, and cashier checks.
  • Assist with Safe Deposit duties when necessary.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or currently enrolled in a college/university program (business, finance, or related field preferred) 
  • Availability to work through the summer (April/May–August/September)
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math and cash-handling accuracy
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, data entry, etc.)
