Position Summary

An HR Intern supports the Human Resources team by assisting with recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, and administrative HR functions. This role provides hands-on experience in HR processes, compliance, and employee engagement within a dynamic manufacturing environment.


Responsibilities

- Assist with recruiting efforts, including posting job openings and screening resumes

- Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process

- Support onboarding activities, including new hire paperwork and orientation scheduling

- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy in HR databases and files

- Assist with employee engagement initiatives and company events

- Help track attendance, timekeeping, and HR-related metrics

- Support HR compliance with company policies and employment regulations

- Provide administrative support to the HR department as needed

Requirements

  

Qualifications

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Basic understanding of HR principles and employment practices (preferred)

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle confidential information


Preferred Skills

- Interest in talent acquisition, employee relations, or HR operations

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn


Work Environment

Office environment with occasional exposure to the manufacturing floor, including moderate noise and varying temperatures. Work schedule may include occasional overtime depending on hiring needs and HR initiatives.
