About the Role

We are currently seeking resumes from qualified, responsible, self-sufficient, energetic Enery Interns for our Phoenix, Arizona office. The ideal candidate will be motivated to develop and build their personal knowledge and skills to assist with the growth and success of the office. Job Description:

This role is to assist staff with engineering projects as needed. The essential functions and responsibilities will be to:

  • Get familiar with the PVSyst solar energy yield simulation software Explore PVSyst’s capabilities in its batch-run mode
  • Learn how-to and prepare a series of sample input files for PVSyst batch-runs
  • Analize simulation results for consistency with PVSyst user-interface mode
  • Related reporting tasks


This role will work under close supervision; receive specific and detailed instructions for the required tasks and results expected. This position will require an individual who is willing to perform a variety of tasks and work both independently and as part of a team. 


Job Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):

  • Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent
  • Entry level 
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software (Word, Excel)
  • Interpersonal and time-management skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate (written & oral) with peers and understand engineering requirements
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD software

Will need the ability to establish rapport quickly with others working on the same project, and be able to promote a positive team environment. Working knowledge of dealing with a diverse population while using tact, diplomacy, and respect.
