A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Summer SW Graduate Intern at MKS Inc., you will partner with the Engineering Team to develop, debug, and improve software and firmware for RF/DC generators and matching products. In this role, you will report to the Engineering Manager.
You Will Make an Impact By:
Designing, developing, programming, debugging, and modifying software.
Troubleshooting code and testing firmware applications and test programs.
Programming firmware, software, and FPGA for RF/DC generators and matching products.
Participating in firmware design reviews, suggesting improvements, and supporting the development of new technologies.
Gaining system-level software expertise for power delivery systems and related products.
Using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) for project management and documentation.
Travel Requirements: Up to 5% of travel may be required.
Skills You Bring:
Currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in C or C++ programming.
Familiarity with operating systems such as Linux or RTOS.
Experience with engineering tools such as MATLAB and Python.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
Experience in power electronics, electromagnetic circuits, digital signal processing, or step motor control.
Experience with LabVIEW or Mathcad.
Good English communication skills.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Must be able to remain seated at a computer for extended periods.
Requires manual dexterity to operate computers and laboratory equipment.
Must be able to communicate clearly with team members and document work.
This job operates in a professional office and laboratory environment.
