About the Bootcamp 

The Baker Hughes Bootcamp is a two-day competitive case study and presentation event designed for top undergraduate talent. Participants will be placed in teams and challenged to analyze a realworld business case, develop practical solutions, and present their recommendations to Baker Hughes leaders. 

This is not an internship. This is a high impact, performancedriven experience designed to simulate real business decisionmaking at Baker Hughes. Outstanding participants may be identified for future internship or earlycareer opportunities, subject to business needs. 

 

Over two intensive days, participants will: 

  • Work in teams to solve a structured business case based on real industry challenges 
  • Analyze data, prioritize tradeoffs, and develop clear, actionable recommendations 
  • Build and deliver a professional team presentation under time constraints 
  • Compete against peer teams in a presentation competition 
  • Receive feedback from Baker Hughes professionals and leadership 
  • Attend an exclusive leadership session with the Managing Directors of Baker Hughes Malaysia businesses 
  • Participants will be expected to demonstrate strong analytical thinking, teamwork, communication skills, and executive presence.

This bootcamp is designed for ambitious, highperforming students who meet the following criteria: 

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in or related to Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain, Surveying, Human Resources, or Computer Science 
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or equivalent 
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills 
  • Legally eligible to participate in activities in Malaysia without sponsorship restrictions 
  • Fully available for both days of the event on 14 and 15 May 2026
