About the Role

At Logitech, we believe in the power of design to create meaningful experiences. As a CMF (Color, Material, Finish) Design Intern, you won't just be watching from the sidelines—you will be an active member of our Global CMF Design team. This role is a deep dive into the sensory side of product development, where science meets aesthetics.

What You Will Do

  • Immersive Learning: Receive specialized training in color theory, material science, advanced finishes, and secondary manufacturing processes.

  • Material Curation: Drive the evolution of our Material Library by sourcing new physical samples, organizing existing collections, and researching emerging material trends.

  • Design Systems: Assist in the maintenance and organization of Logitech CMF design system to ensure global consistency.

  • Market Intelligence: Conduct trend research specifically focused on the gaming and productivity sectors (mice, keyboards, and beyond).

  • Prototyping & Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers for product sampling and utilize 3D printing for rapid CMF prototyping.

Who You Are

  • Educational Background: A Graduate or final-year student (3rd year+) pursuing a degree in Industrial Design, Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related creative field.

  • Technical Savvy: Proficient in 3D modeling software (Rhino or Pro-E/Creo). Familiarity with Keyshot or similar rendering tools is a major plus.

  • Analytical Mindset: Able to organize and derive insights from large datasets and trend reports.

  • Communication: Fluent in English (written and verbal), with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.

  • The "Plus" Factors: * A passion for gaming and technology.

    • Foundational knowledge of tooling, molding, and manufacturing constraints.

    • An obsessive eye for detail, texture, and tactility.
