With our rapid growth, we have 25 stores across North America to-date and more to come!

We are looking for a Finance Co-op Student to join our Finance team!

About the Role

As a Finance Co-op Student, you will support the Finance team in daily financial operations, reporting, and analysis that help drive informed business decisions across our retail network. This role is ideal for a final-year student who is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Assist in preparing financial reports, including sales, expenses, and budget tracking.
  • Support compile and analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in maintaining financial dashboards and KPI reports for management review.

Accounting & Reconciliation Support

  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation processes.
  • Verify invoices, expense records, and financial transactions for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, journal entry preparation, and account reconciliations.

Budgeting & Forecasting Assistance

  • Help gather and organize financial data for budgeting and forecasting exercises.
  • Update forecast templates and assist with maintaining planning spreadsheets.
  • Provide support in tracking departmental spending against budget targets.

Systems & Process Support

  • Maintain accurate financial records in databases.
  • Assist in improving reporting templates and streamlining finance processes where possible.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial requests.

What You’ll Need

  • Currently enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree or diploma program in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and formulas.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or QuickBooks is an asset.
  • Previous internship, co-op, or part-time finance/accounting experience is an asset.
