Internship - Accounting

Purpose Statement:  Actively engage in financial activities across the business, building experiences and knowledge to enable ongoing progressive development. Providing support within the Finance Department across a variety of activities as per Training requirements.

Key Job Accountabilities:

• Sales price verification
• Assist in Month End Activities
• Financial journal creation and entry
• Assist in the analysis of historical results, quoted margins and projected margins
• Provide Finance and Accounting support across the department

Education/Experience Qualifications:

• Currently pursing a degree in finance, accounting or related field.

Other Qualifications:  

• Familiarity with financial principles and accounting concepts.
• Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software. Analytical mindset with attention to detail for data analysis and financial modeling.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.

Physical Requirements:  

• Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
