This position will work in Lodi, CA for approximately 40 hours per week Monday through Friday, depending on availability and utility needs.
Lodi Electric Utility is seeking a student intern to assist the Engineering Department with various mission-critical and time-sensitive projects.
Examples of Duties:
Under the supervision of the assigned supervisor, the intern will:
• Data analysis, collection, documentation and processing
• An assortment of engineering and office projects; likely to include AutoCAD, GIS
• Participating in site field visits
• Electric system modeling
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Academic status at an accredited college or university, taking courses as a full-time student with a concentration in Electrical Engineering leading to an Engineering degree in a field related to the work which is performed.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5 required; candidates must be in good academic standing.
Knowledge of:
Microsoft Office Suite and Electric Engineering principles and concepts.
Ability to:
Work with Microsoft Office products, possess strong analytical skills, as well as, good verbal and written communication skills.
