About the Role
 

Join us at Dilico! The Dilico Integrated Model of Care brings together a wide range of services and programs to support children, youth and families to live their good life - physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. We offer services, rooted in culture, that address diverse issues related to child welfare, mental health & addictions, and primary health. Our Student Placement program welcomes students from a variety of different university and college programs to gain valuable experience and skills with us.

 

Purpose and Summary:

Under the direction of the Children’s Wellness or District Child Welfare Service Manager, the Children’s Wellness Worker is responsible for providing the protection of children in care by performing duties as may be required, in accordance with provisions of the Child and Family Services Act, Ministry Regulations and Standards, Abuse Protocols, and Dilico Anishinabek Family Care policies and procedures. The Children’s Services Worker is responsible for ensuring that all the service needs of children in care of the agency are met.
