About the job:

Internship Legal Private Banking

Your main tasks are

You will assist the different areas on all legal aspects of the Bank's day-to-day business. We are offering an interesting opportunity to get an insight into today's legal and regulatory challenges in the private banking sector, including the following tasks:

  • Support the Legal Team in providing legal advice to the Private Banking front staff and Blockchain Team regarding all questions arising in the daily business with clients
  • Prepare and review account and product documentation
  • Support in the handling of client complaints and litigation cases
  • Provide legal support and advice to other support areas such as Talent & Culture, Marketing, Engineering and Technology, etc.
  • Assist with the implementation of new legal and regulatory requirements
  • Review internal policies, standards and procedures
  • Legal support in international projects
  • Draft and review contracts, settlement agreements and correspondence in English, German and Spanish
  • Correspondence with authorities and public bodies

Your profile

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Swiss Law
  • Previous internship or relevant work experience, preferably in the banking and financial sector is a plus
  • Interested in banking services and products including digital assets
  • Proactive, team player, excellent interpersonal skills
  • good communication skills together with a concise and precise drafting style
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of diligence
  • Dynamic, flexible and capable of working independently
  • Solution- and target-oriented person with strong analytical skills and a customer-oriented focus
  • Fluent in German, and English. Spanish would be a plus
