About the Role

Description

Indus Management Group is a property management company based in Houston, Texas, specializing in the renovation of multifamily properties. Founded in 2002, Indus Management Group currently manages 38 apartment complexes in the greater Houston area. Our focus is on Class B & C properties, with approximately 11,000 units currently under management.

Job Summary:  

Interns support day-to-day operations across various departments, including HR, Accounting, Business Intelligence, Finance, Technology, and Marketing. This role provides hands-on experience through meaningful project work, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and exposure to core business functions. Interns will develop professional skills while contributing to team and organizational goals. 

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program 
  • License/Certification(s): Valid state driver’s license 
  • Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)  
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Strong desire to learn and grow professionally 
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills 
  • Resourceful and proactive in problem-solving 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Requirements

Principal Responsibilities: ? 

  • Support ongoing projects and departmental initiatives 
  • Assists with research, data collection, and basic analysis 
  • Prepare and maintain reports, presentations, and documentation 
  • Collaborate with team members, leadership, and external partners as needed 
  • Participate in meetings, training sessions, and workshops 
  • Assist with event planning and coordination efforts 
  • Complete an assigned project, including research, recommendations, and a final presentation 
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and share ideas with team 
  • Shadow team members to gain insight into daily operations and industry practices 
  • Learn and become proficient in internal systems, tools, and processes 
  • Gain exposure to multiple business and workflows 
  • Rotate across business units (as applicable) to broaden organizational knowledge 
  • Learn company policies, procedures, and culture 
  • Other duties as assigned
