About the Role

At WIN Waste Innovations, we’re proud to deliver Performance for the Planet—providing reliable waste and recycling solutions, unmatched customer care, and a commitment to sustainability every step of the way. Now, we’re looking for an ambitious and motivated Sales Summer Intern to join our Sales team and help us create a cleaner and greener future. Our interns take on the same challenges as our full-time professionals and you will have support and guidance throughout.

 

What You’ll Do:

As a Sales Summer Intern, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience while working alongside a passionate and professional sales team. Over the course of the internship, you will:

  • Assist with identifying, developing, and nurturing new sales leads/prospects while being exposed and learning the full sales cycle.
  • Check-in daily with leadership and report back on efforts in the field
  • Positive interaction and brainstorm with other sales representatives for sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with sales leaders, pricing team, care and operations teams to drive wins and enhance engagement.
  • Learn industry knowledge through product and technical training.
  • Help develop and execute creative outreach campaigns, including phone calls, emails, and door-to-door cold calls
  • Build and strengthen customer relationships, learning how to engage at varying levels of seniority.
  • Present a final report describing your internship experience and key learnings.

  • A strong interest in sales and lead generation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A goal-oriented mindset with a desire to learn and develop new skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude with a passion for delivering results.
  • The ability to commit to a 10-12 week program during the summer.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, working toward a bachelor’s degree
  • Interest in a Sales Career, previous experience in sales, customer service, or cold outreach is preferred but not required.
  • A strong sense of professionalism, enthusiasm, and a commitment to sustainability.
