Founded by a UW MBA, Rebound is a sparkling electrolyte drink designed to help people recover after a long night out or a long day on the golf course. Packed with 1,000mg of vitamin C, zinc, and vitamin B12, Rebound delivers a refreshing and revitalizing experience that’s perfect for active lifestyles.

Our mission is to support our community while providing a quality product that promotes wellness and recovery. Since our launch, we’ve expanded our presence to approximately 300 stores across Wisconsin, Illinois, Washington D.C., Scranton, PA, and New Jersey, with continued growth on the horizon. Our product is especially popular on college campuses and golf courses, and we’re looking to build on this success as we expand to new markets.

Job Title: Sales and Marketing Summer Intern

About Us: Rebound is a fast-growing, locally owned startup based in Waunakee, Wisconsin. Our sparkling electrolyte drink is designed to help people recover after a late night out, with 1,000mg of vitamin C, zinc, and vitamin B12. We’ve rapidly expanded and are now available in stores across Wisconsin, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.

Position Overview: We’re looking for an outgoing, self-motivated, and energetic individual to join our team as a Sales and Marketing Summer Intern. You’ll play a key role in expanding Rebound’s presence in the Madison area by establishing new retail accounts and creating buzz around the brand. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting startup and gain valuable hands-on experience in sales and marketing.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and execute strategies to identify and secure new retail accounts, focusing on local stores, cafes, and event spaces.

• Create and manage in-person sampling events to increase brand awareness.

• Engage with the community through creative marketing initiatives and social media promotion.

• Collaborate with the Rebound team to brainstorm and implement local marketing campaigns.

• Track and report on your progress and the impact of your efforts.

What We’re Looking For:

• Currently enrolled at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.

• Outgoing, personable, and comfortable approaching new people.

• Self-starter with a strong sense of initiative.

• Passionate about startups and entrepreneurship.

• Excellent communication and networking skills.

• Prior sales or marketing experience is a plus but not required.

Compensation:

• Commission-based pay for successfully establishing new retail accounts.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Passion for the beverage industry and an understanding of consumer trends

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude towards challenges

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Experience in sales, marketing, or customer service is a plus

• Enthusiasm for community engagement and brand promotion

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings when needed

• Familiarity with the local market and community connections is a bonus
