About the Role

Job Description

Ingram Industries is hiring for a Financial Analyst Internship in our Nashville, TN office. Under the direction of the Vice President, Controller, this role will contribute to the Ingram Industries finance and accounting teams through a series of rotational assignments in the areas of accounting, tax, treasury, and internal audit. Assignment would include assisting in analyzing financial data and trends, as well as assist in creating reports and presentations.

What you will be doing:

  • Assisting in analyzing financial data, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Preparing and maintaining financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and trend analysis.
  • Supporting in researching and analyzing industry and market trends to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Assisting in generating financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide financial insights.
  • Contributing to ad-hoc financial projects and analyses as assigned by supervisor.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for working with financial data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and the ability to create and maintain complex financial models.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • A proactive and self-motivated individual who can work both independently and in a team.
  • Knowledge of financial software and tools (Workday Adaptive Planning, Sage, and PeopleSoft) is a plus but not a requirement.
