Job Description

Eataly is hiring a Culinary Operations Intern for Summer 2026 to work with and learn from Eataly’s Research & Development Team. This internship is a unique opportunity for hands-on, professional experience with a fun and dynamic team. Get a taste of what life is like as an Eatalian!

With the guidance of the Corporate Kitchen Manager, the intern will:

  • Assist the Corporate Kitchen Manager in analyzing costs, revenues, and strategies to optimize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
  • Support virtual menu management by conceptualizing offerings and refining menu performance.
  • Learn procurement processes, assist with inventory monitoring, vendor management, and maintain records.
  • Collect and input nutritional data, ensure compliance with labeling regulations, and support the development of balanced menu options.
  • Research industry trends and consumer preferences to support menu innovation and business strategies.
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations on key findings related to financial performance, menu success, and purchasing insights.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned

This internship runs from June - August.  The internship is onsite at Eataly’s corporate offices in Manhattan, NY. The intern will be scheduled per week, Monday – Thursday from 9 am – 6 pm. Internships at Eataly are paid an hourly rate.  Housing and transportation costs are the responsibility of the intern.

The compensation for this role is $17.00 per hour

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Food Science, Culinary Arts, Management
  • Exceptional writing, communication, and research skills
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to take direction and work independently
  • Working knowledge of Italian language preferred
  • Passion for the food and beverage industry
  • Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
