Responsibilities

  • The Diagnostic Radiology Technologist Intern supports patient care by performing quality radiology procedures and consistently focuses on customer service and safety.
  • Reviews and evaluates images within the Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to ensure quality. 
  • Overseen by the Diagnostic Radiology Technologist. 
  • Enhances quality by participating in performance improvement.
  • Supports the Radiology department and reports to the Radiology Diagnostic Supervisor.

Qualifications

Job Requirements: 

  • Must be attending an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and be registry eligible. 
  • Become registered by the ARRT within one year of graduation or hire date. 
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
