In one sentence

We are looking for a motivated Summer Intern to join our team and support the design and development of a GenAI-powered log mining tool. This role is ideal for a student who is passionate about AI, data, and solving real-world problems in a large-scale production environment.
You will work closely with experienced engineers and architects, gaining hands-on experience with modern tools and methodologies while contributing to a meaningful, production-oriented project.

Internship Details

Term: May–August 2026 (4 months)
Work Hours: Standard business hours/30-35 hours per week

What will your job look like?

You will:
• Assist in the design, development, and testing of a GenAI log mining tool
• Help analyze large sets of system and application logs to identify patterns and insights
• Support data preparation, cleaning, and feature engineering activities
• Contribute to documentation of solution design, workflows, and user guides
• Collaborate with team members in daily standups, design discussions, and code reviews
• Support troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement of the solution
 

All you need is...

Qualifications – Education
Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related STEM program
Qualifications – Skills & Experience
• Strong programming skills in at least one language (e.g., Python, Java, or similar)
• Understanding of JSON and unstructured data
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts or frameworks (e.g., basic understanding of machine learning, NLP, or large language models) is an asset
• Experience with data analysis, scripting, or working with APIs (FastAPI or Flask) is an asset
• Comfortable working in a Linux or cloud-based environment and Git Workflow
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
