About the Role
<p><strong>Routine Labs</strong> is a Berlin-based AI startup building automation infrastructure for regulated industries.</p> <p>We combine LLM-based workflow generation with deterministic execution in production. The result is automation that is testable, auditable and reliable rather than a black box.</p> <p>Our initial focus is healthcare, but the ambition goes further: building the infrastructure that allows automation to scale reliably across complex legacy IT environments.</p> <p>We are a funded early-stage startup, built by a team with experience in starting and scaling companies.</p> <p>We are hiring for this position as either a <strong>Working Student</strong> or an <strong>Intern</strong>, depending on your availability.</p> <ul> <li><strong>Working Students</strong> can start immediately</li> <li><strong>Interns</strong> would typically join in the summer</li> <li><strong>Working Student hours:</strong> 16–20 hours per week during the semester</li> <li>During semester breaks, there is the option to increase to <strong>up to 40 hours per week</strong></li> </ul> <p>You will work closely with our Founder’s Associate and collaborate directly with the founders. Expect flat hierarchies, fast decisions and early ownership.</p> <p><strong>NATIVE GERMAN SPEAKERS ONLY SINCE PART OF YOUR JOB WILL BE TO COLD CALL GERMAN DECISION MAKERS WITH A FOCUS ON HEALTHCARE.</strong></p> <h2 id="tasks">Tasks</h2> <p>In your role, you’ll work closely with our founders and go-to-market team to drive pipeline growth and support our sales processes. You will:</p> <p><strong>Lead Generation &amp; Qualification</strong> </p> <p>Research and identify prospective customers, compile targeted prospect lists, and support outbound outreach across email, LinkedIn, and additional channels.</p> <p><strong>Sales Process Support</strong> </p> <p>Help prepare sales collateral, pitch decks, and product demos. Participate in discovery calls and capture key notes to keep deals progressing.</p> <p><strong>CRM &amp; Pipeline Management</strong> </p> <p>Keep our CRM up to date with accurate records, monitor deal stages, and ensure follow-ups happen on time and stay well-organized.</p> <p><strong>Market &amp; Customer Intelligence</strong> </p> <p>Examine target industries, competitors, and ICPs (Ideal Customer Profiles) to sharpen our positioning and messaging.</p> <p><strong>Cross-Team Collaboration</strong> </p> <p>Partner closely with product and marketing to relay customer insights and feedback that strengthen our messaging and product features.</p> <p><strong>Learn by Doing</strong> </p> <p>Get hands-on experience in B2B sales, startup growth strategy, AI-driven products, and how early-stage companies scale revenue.</p> <h2 id="requirements">Requirements</h2> <p><strong>You:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Have experience in B2B sales, outbound, or a role with clear performance targets</li> <li>Have a track record of hitting or exceeding targets (e.g. deals closed, meetings booked, pipeline generated</li> <li>Are comfortable doing cold outreach across channels, including picking up the phone</li> <li>Are persistent and do not drop leads after the first “no”</li> <li>Communicate clearly, directly, and confidently, both written and verbal</li> <li>Are hands-on and execution-driven, you prefer doing over discussing</li> <li>Are comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Native German</li> <li>Fluent English (C1+)</li> <li>Previous experience in B2B sales</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in startup, venture capital, consulting or similar high pace environment</li> </ul> <h2 id="benefits">Benefits</h2> <ul> <li>Direct collaboration with the founders</li> <li>Flat hierarchies and fast decision-making</li> <li>Immediate involvement in real operational work</li> <li>The chance to learn in one year what often takes several elsewhere</li> <li>Real ownership from day one</li> <li>Hands-on experience building an AI startup from the ground up</li> </ul> <p>Join the team helping build the market presence, positioning and growth engine of a company redefining how legacy software gets automated.</p> <p>We value diverse perspectives and welcome applicants of all genders, identities and backgrounds.</p>
