Join our team as a Data Analyst Intern, where you'll work directly with our Vice President of IT and collaborate cross-functionally with our acquisitions, asset management, and leasing teams. In this role, you'll apply technical skills to build and maintain data pipelines, develop dashboards, and deliver actionable insights that drive portfolio-level decision-making. This is a hands-on position for someone eager to apply their analytical toolkit — SQL, Python, Excel, or BI tools — to real-world problems in real estate analytics, market research, and financial reporting

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Depending on the deal flow at the time of the internship, the intern could expect to work on some or all the following tasks.
· Collect, clean, and analyze data related to property performance, occupancy rates, rental trends, and market comparables.
· Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs across multifamily, mixed-use, and grocery-anchored assets.
· Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support acquisitions and leasing strategies.
· Assist in the preparation of financial models, rent roll analysis, and NOI projections.
· Support the team in identifying trends and opportunities within target markets.
· Present findings and insights in a clear, concise manner to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
These requirements represent the education, knowledge, skill, certifications/licensure and/or ability required to perform the job satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties noted above.
· Completed bachelor’s degree in data science, finance, real estate, economics, statistics, business analytics, or a related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply). Enrolled in master’s program preferred.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
· Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
· Familiarity with SQL or Python for data analysis is preferred.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
· Interest in or exposure to the real estate industry is highly preferred.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an in-office setting.
